Join us in welcoming the 2024-2025 cohort of John Lewis Young Leaders! Representing 15 distinct universities across the country, our second cohort of fellows has developed innovative capstones designed to create social change. We are pleased to support a wide array of projects from increasing digital literacy, to organizing DACA form clinics, to creating zines on Black girlhood.
This year, we’ve introduced our Mentor Matching program, a one-year program that matches fellows with a mentor who will guide them through their professional journey, academic pursuits, or capstone project. Our mentors come with a wealth of experience and insight that will help support the fellows as they implement their capstone projects.
On Wednesday, September 4th, fellows learned who they’d be matched with in our Mentor Match Day Program. Mentors include RFKHR board members, former and current staff members, and even Young Leaders alumni. We are so excited for our fellows to build genuine relationships with their mentors as they guide them during their fellowship year and beyond!
