I’d be a penguin because they are adorable and incredible swimmers.

What motivates you to be a changemaker in your community?

I’m inspired to be a changemaker in my community because I believe in the transformative tools of empathy and understanding to address social issues. By utilizing empathy-driven approaches in the intersection of harnessing the power of collective action, we can ultimately begin to seek the tangible progressive action we’ve long awaited.

My Capstone

Capstone Focus Area: Environment / Climate Change

My capstone proposal is focused on creating a platform for students to engage in fashion sustainably and ethically. This project will offer clothing swaps, upcycling events, student vendor markets, and scholarships to students to offer eco-conscious ways of shopping and provide practical ethical fashion experiences. By creating this platform, I aim to provide a medium for students to have tangible experiences in sustainable fashion. This club not only educates students about the environmental and ethical impact of shopping but also encourages them to be active agents in solutions, through reusing and repurposing clothes.
