As Wellesley’s Chief Communications Officer, Elizabeth most recently oversaw the College’s Communications & Public Affairs group: brand management, media relations, the website, social media, issues management, the promotion of public events, and development of a wide range of print and digital communications. Having helped develop Wellesley’s brand positioning, her mission was to enhance Wellesley’s reputation and build the College’s visibility. She and her group focused on creating opportunities for the College to generate awareness and demonstrate thought leadership, ensuring communications were infused with the College’s positioning and key messages. Before Wellesley, Elizabeth played a similar role at Barnard College, where she served as Vice President for Communications and Public Affairs. She spent the bulk of her communications career at J. Walter Thompson, where, as Senior Vice President, she founded and led the Integrated Brand Communications (IBC) unit. Elizabeth received her B.A. in English from Trinity College.
