The Robert & Ethel Kennedy Human Rights Center was created in 1968 to carry on the late senator’s unfinished work of creating a more just and peaceful world.
For over 50 years, we have sought to hold powerful institutions accountable to the people who they purport to serve but all too often oppress.

Working alongside grassroots partners in the US and around the world, our teams of lawyers confront systemic problems through litigation and advocacy aimed at structural change.

We work within our network, which includes some of the world’s most powerful fiduciaries, to push investors and corporations to integrate dignity and equity into their business approach, across people, practices, portfolios, and community impacts.
Education
Through curricula, storytelling, and community engagement, our programs empower K-12 students, university students, and teachers to become human rights defenders in their own communities.
