Beginning with the story of a human rights defender, each lesson plan outlines a series of activities inspired by the defender’s advocacy. Designed to encourage students themselves to “Become a Defender,” the lesson plans are available in eight languages, engage students at all levels, and align with Common Core Learning Standards
