The job of providing constructive and challenging opportunities for young people throughout the nation is every citizen’s business. This is not a matter for partisan political interest. Nor can the residents of suburbs, rural areas and small towns attribute the problem to the corruption of the big city and refused to help. Their children go to work and live in the cities in a steady migration. And the problems of the inner city have an infectious way of spreading outward. Back there in the inner city, where delinquency rates are still highest, is the place to stop this trend.

New year, new us. Same mission.

Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights is rebranding to honor the legacy of our founder and hero, Mrs. Ethel Skakel Kennedy. From now on, we will proudly be known as the Robert & Ethel Kennedy Human Rights Center

While our name is changing, our mission and work remain the same. We will continue to fight injustice, advance human rights, and hold governments accountable around the world in 2026 and beyond.
