PIX11: Tension Builds in NYC, Washington D.C. after High-Profile ICE Arrests

Tensions are rising in New York City after ICE detained a City Council employee at a routine court hearing, adding to a growing wave of high-profile immigration enforcement actions nationwide. As arrests and protests unfold from Canal Street to Minneapolis, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem says the administration is using “every single tool” to enforce U.S. immigration laws, raising urgent questions about the human and legal consequences of these tactics.
