The quest for racial equality forms the foundation of all our programs at RFK Human Rights.

We have led the fight against the blatant injustice of cash bail while working to reform the elemental structures that lead to mass incarceration in the first place. In the midst of the unprecedented public health crisis, that mission has grown even more urgent.

Through our Compass Investors program, we help create socially meaningful investment opportunities and work to diversify the pipeline of talent in the investment community. As a leading member of the Racial Justice Investing coalition, we joined in the release of the Investor Statement of Solidarity to Address Systemic Racism and actively support its aims.

Our newest program, Workplace Dignity, connects our legacy human rights work to today’s workplace through strategies that drive change and ensure, in the words of the UN Declaration of Human Rights, “just and favorable conditions of work.”

Our Speak Truth to Power human rights education team produces webinars and workshops that help educators promote racial equity through social and emotional learning. We also equip college students from underrepresented groups with the access and skills they need to rise through local systems of power and create positive change.

The world is a complicated place, and its structures sometimes feel immovable. Every positive action taken, no matter how small, can have an impact—and should be applauded. But undoing centuries-old harmful systems to create true and lasting change requires real, systematic work at every level. At RFK Human Rights, that’s exactly what we do every day.
