A senior writer for Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, Kerry Kasper has more than a decade of experience as a journalist and author. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, the Associated Press, Irish News, on NPR and many other outlets. She’s been described as one of the Best State Capitol Reporters in America by the Washington Post, one of Chicago’s 20 most powerful women in journalism, and has been honored by the Chicago Journalists’ Association, Chicago Headline Club, and Inland Press Association.

Kerry’s book, No, My Place, collected the first-hand accounts of the sexual harassment experiences of women working in Illinois government and politics. While a staff writer at Chicago's Daily Herald, her multi-part investigative series into a teen's high school stabbing led to changes in state law.

Kerry earned a B.A. in English from Villanova University and a Master's in Literature from Queen's University, Belfast.
