What motivates you to be a changemaker in your community?

What motivates me to be a changemaker in my community is the desire to create a more equitable and just society for all. Witnessing the challenges faced by marginalized individuals and communities has fueled my passion to advocate for social justice and human rights. Whether it’s through organizing food drives, providing educational support, or raising awareness about important issues, I am driven by the belief that positive change starts at the local level and can have a ripple effect on a larger scale.

My Capstone:

The project aims to promote student well-being at UC Davis by collaborating with the Health Education and Promotion Department (HEP) and various student organizations. By conducting workshops and connecting with student groups, the project seeks to create a campus culture that prioritizes health equity, evidence-informed action, social justice, and student-centricity.
