Sarah Morsheimer

International Pinto Legal Fellow

Sarah Morsheimer is the Dale and James J. Pinto Legal Fellow with the International Advocacy and Litigation Team. She received her J.D. from Georgetown Law with a certificate in Refugees and Humanitarian Emergencies. During law school, Sarah worked with multiple human rights organizations including Human Rights Now, the Tahrir Institute for Middle East Policy, and Human Rights Watch’s International Justice Program. She also worked with Project Phoenix, a NGO in Cyprus focused on refugee and migration issues, on a project analyzing the impact of COVID-19 on refugees, migrants, asylum seekers, and the immigration system in Cyprus. She also was a Global Law Scholar and the Legal Director for Georgetown Law’s chapter of the International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP). Prior to law school, she interned with the United Nations Assistance to the Khmer Rouge Trials in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and worked for the Jesuit Refugee Service in Rome, Italy. Sarah has a B.A. from Loyola University Chicago.

Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights is rebranding to honor the legacy of our founder and hero, Mrs. Ethel Skakel Kennedy. From now on, we will proudly be known as the Robert & Ethel Kennedy Human Rights Center

While our name is changing, our mission and work remain the same. We will continue to fight injustice, advance human rights, and hold governments accountable around the world in 2026 and beyond.
