Washington, D.C.

I think that some of the demonstrations have weakened the position of those who advocate a particular cause. But this doesn’t mean they are illegal. Unless they violate local or Federal laws, I don’t think that we have to take any legal action to protect ourselves. And I think the fact that so many young people and so many other citizens are taking such an active interest in this matter is healthy for the country, whether they agree or disagree with our present policy.

New year, new us. Same mission.

Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights is rebranding to honor the legacy of our founder and hero, Mrs. Ethel Skakel Kennedy. From now on, we will proudly be known as the Robert & Ethel Kennedy Human Rights Center

While our name is changing, our mission and work remain the same. We will continue to fight injustice, advance human rights, and hold governments accountable around the world in 2026 and beyond.
