Answers founded on clear and dispassionate thought must be matched to action rooted in conviction and a passionate desire to reshape the world. It is not enough to understand, or to see clearly. The future will be shaped in the arena of human activity, by those willing to commit their minds and bodies to the test. Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “God gives to each of us the choice between truth and repose. Take which you please. You cannot have both.”

New year, new us. Same mission.

Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights is rebranding to honor the legacy of our founder and hero, Mrs. Ethel Skakel Kennedy. From now on, we will proudly be known as the Robert & Ethel Kennedy Human Rights Center

While our name is changing, our mission and work remain the same. We will continue to fight injustice, advance human rights, and hold governments accountable around the world in 2026 and beyond.
