Delinquency is a broad problem and demands a broad attack. Educational programs, job opportunities, recreational facilities, adult counseling — All these projects and many more must be combined in a comprehensive program if we are to make a major impact on the problem. We must show every young person, no matter how deprived his background maybe, that he has a genuine opportunity to fulfill himself and play a constructive role in American Life. We cannot solve delinquency by building new prisons. We must create new opportunities for our nation’s youth.

New year, new us. Same mission.

Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights is rebranding to honor the legacy of our founder and hero, Mrs. Ethel Skakel Kennedy. From now on, we will proudly be known as the Robert & Ethel Kennedy Human Rights Center

While our name is changing, our mission and work remain the same. We will continue to fight injustice, advance human rights, and hold governments accountable around the world in 2026 and beyond.
