NEW YORK, NY, October 7, 2025 – Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights will host its 35th annual golf tournament on Friday, October 17 at the Hyannisport Club in Hyannis Port, MA. Rebranded in honor of its legendary founder, the late Ethel Kennedy, the tournament will raise funds for the organization she founded in 1968 to continue her husband, Senator Robert F. Kennedy’s unfinished work on human rights and social justice.
Special guests from the sports and entertainment industries will join Kerry Kennedy, president of RFK Human Rights, Christopher Kennedy, Ted Kennedy Jr, and several other members of the Kennedy family for the day’s festivities. VIP attendees include actors Dennis Haysbert and Matt McCoy; director Bobby Farrelly; former Pittsburgh Steelers player Max Starks IV; former New England Patriots player Tully Banta-Cain; and former Boston Red Sox player and Cy Young Award winning pitcher Jim Lonborg.
“At RFKHR, we work every day to protect the vulnerable and ensure accountability for gross human rights abuses, whether that’s the denial of medical care in ICE detention facilities or gender-based violence in Latin America,” said Kerry Kennedy. “But none of this work would be possible without our generous friends and partners whose support enables us to focus on our clients.”
Teeing off at 11:00 am, the tournament will conclude with closing festivities and an awards ceremony. Attendees are also invited to join a welcome reception on Thursday, October 16th.
The Hyannisport Club is less than a mile from the Kennedy Compound, and the course played by Robert Kennedy, his brother President John F. Kennedy, and their siblings has been enjoyed by four generations of Kennedys. Proceeds from the tournament support Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights’ programs and strategic litigation, powering the organization’s social justice and civil rights work around the globe.
