What motivates you to be a changemaker in your community?
From healthcare to the courts, our existing systems are broken in so many ways. I’m motivated to be a changemaker to do my part to heal these systematic barriers, challenge existing disparities, and in the process, forge a better future for all.
Capstone: From Harm to Healing: RJ in Academic Medicine
From Harm to Healing: RJ in Medicine aims to address the historical and ongoing harms caused by medical institutions. The project aims to embed restorative justice and trauma-informed care as core professional competencies for future physicians. Through interactive workshops, resource development, and participatory research, the project aims to empower students to recognize and repair harm, support survivors, and advocate for systemic change. By partnering with university and healthcare leaders, we seek to create safer, more accountable environments in health and medicine.
