Whitney W. Rauschenbach

Executive Director, Head of Private Company and Issuer Relations, MSCI

Whitney Rauschenbach is an executive director at MSCI where she spearheads the firm’s program to engage with public and private companies on their sustainability and climate data. In this capacity, she leads a team responsible for relentlessly increasing transparency and education at scale for global issuers in MSCI ESG Research & Climate coverage across its market-leading models, metrics and assessments. Most recently, she has focused on bringing best practice data principles to the private credit and private equity market with the launch of MSCI’s Private Company Data Connect platform. Rauschenbach also serves as the global co-lead of the MSCI Pride & Allies employee resource group. She has a BA in biology and German from Bowdoin College and holds the CFA Institute’s Certificate in ESG Investing. Rauschenbach is a native Cape Codder, born and raised in Brewster, which she is sure to visit every summer with her wife and son.
