Ulrik Smith

Co-Managing Partner, FSN Capital

Ulrik Smith has been a partner at FSN Capital since 2013 and became co-managing partner in 2022 together with Robin Muerer. He is based in Oslo. Prior to joining FSN as an associate in 2005, Smith was part of the management program at Citigroup in Chicago. He also gained business restructuring and strategy development experience from McKinsey & Company’s Toronto office, before joining early stage venture investor Venturepark Incubator in Berlin, Germany in 2000. In his 16 years at FSN Capital, Smith has been involved in many investments, add-ons, and exits, and was involved in the establishment of the firm’s Copenhagen office in 2012. Smith holds a BS in economics with great distinction from McGill University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

While our name is changing, our mission and work remain the same. We will continue to fight injustice, advance human rights, and hold governments accountable around the world in 2026 and beyond.
