What motivates you to be a changemaker in your community?
What motivates me to create change in my community stems from the values instilled in me. I understand that if I want to see a specific change, I’ll have to put work into it.
Capstone: Human Trafficking Awareness
As an HBCU student, my goal is to bring attention to the issue of human trafficking and how it affects people in our communities. Too often, these situations are overlooked, and victims are left without the support they need. I believe that by educating others, in a group effort, we can help raise awareness and highlight the importance of prevention. I also want to inspire my peers to get involved through advocacy, service, and outreach.
