What motivates you to be a changemaker in your community?

What motivates me to be a changemaker is the recognition that every person carries a unique story shaped by systems of power and oppression. The fact that behind every face is a lived experience impacted by human rights injustices both past and present. Every person is someone or knows someone who has navigated marginalization, exclusion, or erasure. I’m driven to confront these systemic inequities and build a future where human rights are not just ideals, but lived realities rooted in dignity, equity, and solidarity.

New year, new us. Same mission.

Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights is rebranding to honor the legacy of our founder and hero, Mrs. Ethel Skakel Kennedy. From now on, we will proudly be known as the Robert & Ethel Kennedy Human Rights Center

While our name is changing, our mission and work remain the same. We will continue to fight injustice, advance human rights, and hold governments accountable around the world in 2026 and beyond.
