Matthew Tepper is head of the Americas Indirect Real Estate team. Based in Boston, Tepper is responsible for investment activity in the region including sourcing, executing investments and asset management. He has been responsible for the investment of over US$6 billion in equity on behalf of clients, including over US$4 billion in joint-ventures, programmatic ventures, co-investments and secondary investments. He is involved in setting investment strategy and is a member of the investment committee. Tepper joined CBRE Investment Management in April 2009. Prior to this, he was an Associate at Wachovia Securities in the private equity-real estate investment banking division working on capital formation for real estate operators and fund sponsors. Prior to that, he served as a senior analyst with New England Pension Consultants with responsibility for client real estate portfolios. Tepper began his career in real estate in 2002.
