Your go-to fun fact

I was unable to have the sense of smell or taste until the age of 9 due to some cell tissues in my nose preventing me from being able to have that ability. The first thing I ever tasted was strawberry ice cream after getting surgery to regulate my senses and it’s been my favorite flavor of ice cream ever since.

What motivates you to be a changemaker in your community?

What motivates me to be a changemaker in my community is a deep-rooted commitment to uplifting Black and Brown youth those whom society has too often relegated to the margins. I am driven by the belief that the original man possesses an inherent brilliance, and when given access to liberation-centered education, creative autonomy, and spaces of radical affirmation, he will not only rise but redefine the world around him. My purpose is to cultivate pathways where our youth can thrive unapologetically in their power, vision, and truth.

New year, new us. Same mission.

Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights is rebranding to honor the legacy of our founder and hero, Mrs. Ethel Skakel Kennedy. From now on, we will proudly be known as the Robert & Ethel Kennedy Human Rights Center

While our name is changing, our mission and work remain the same. We will continue to fight injustice, advance human rights, and hold governments accountable around the world in 2026 and beyond.
