Lisa Osborne Ross

Veteran Communications Expert; Former U.S. CEO, Edelman

Lisa Osborne Ross is a communications industry veteran with over 30 years of experience as an in-demand social impact, public affairs, and crisis management counselor. She is known for bringing balanced and inclusive solutions to complex business and societal challenges. Prior to Edelman, she served as managing director of APCO Worldwide’s flagship office. During her 13-year tenure at Ogilvy Public Relations she founded and headed the Multicultural and Public Advocacy Practices and led the agency’s Public Affairs Division. During the Clinton Administration, Ross served as U.S. Department of Labor Communications Director, Deputy Director of the bipartisan Federal Glass Ceiling Commission, co-authored the Commission’s landmark final report and was a member of the inaugural team of the White House Office of Women’s Initiatives and Outreach.

While our name is changing, our mission and work remain the same. We will continue to fight injustice, advance human rights, and hold governments accountable around the world in 2026 and beyond.
