Lesley Li

Compass Investors Fellow

Lesley Li is the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Compass Investors Fellow, supporting the investor engagement and fundraising efforts of the Compass team. Lesley is currently pursuing an MPA degree at the NYU Wagner School of Public Service, where she was selected to attend on a merit scholarship as a Public Service Scholar. Lesley has experiences working with APAC investors across asset classes ranging from Credit, Equities and Equity Derivatives at Bank of America, CICC, and CITIC Securities. In her future career, Lesley aims to build a bridge between private capitals and public goods by leveraging her background in both private and public sectors and her familiarity with the APAC market.

Originally born and raised in Beijing, China, Lesley holds a B.A. in Computer Science and a B.S. in Media, Culture, and Communications from NYU. Lesley speaks Mandarin, English and French. In her free time, Lesley enjoys equestrian sports, tennis, and floral art, and cherishes quality time with her family and friends.

Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights is rebranding to honor the legacy of our founder and hero, Mrs. Ethel Skakel Kennedy. From now on, we will proudly be known as the Robert & Ethel Kennedy Human Rights Center

While our name is changing, our mission and work remain the same. We will continue to fight injustice, advance human rights, and hold governments accountable around the world in 2026 and beyond.
