Kacey Mordecai

Latin American/Caribbean Staff Attorney

Kacey Mordecai joined Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights after five years as a staff attorney at the Juvenile Law Center, a Philadelphia public interest law firm for children, where she worked to improve national policy and practice for children in the foster care and justice systems.

Kacey earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center where she interned for the Inter-American Court for Human Rights and for Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights. Kacey received her B.A. in International Studies from the University of Chicago where she participated in the Human Rights Internship Program with the Independent Jamaican Council for Human Rights in her home country, Jamaica.

Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights is rebranding to honor the legacy of our founder and hero, Mrs. Ethel Skakel Kennedy. From now on, we will proudly be known as the Robert & Ethel Kennedy Human Rights Center

While our name is changing, our mission and work remain the same. We will continue to fight injustice, advance human rights, and hold governments accountable around the world in 2026 and beyond.
