Jonathan Schein

Jonathan is the CEO & Executive Director of THE REAL ESTATE LIMITED PARTNER INSTITUTE AND INTERESTS ALIGNED® EVENTS which is a globally connected community of best-in-class organizations and individuals devoted to the best practices in real estate asset allocation and investment for pension funds, endowments, foundations, asset managers, and family offices.

Prior to this he served as Global Head Business Development and Managing Director, INSTITUTIONAL REAL ESTATE, INC., an internationally respected media platform dedicated to the LP/GP relationship. In this capacity, he established and maintained relationships with institutional investors, pension funds, endowments, foundations, sovereign wealth funds and HNW family offices as well as fund managers and private equity firms in the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific.

Has is also proud to be acting as Special Advisor, Real Estate & Infrastructure for the ROBERT F KENNEDY COMPASS CONFERENCE by connecting and recruiting private equity firms and institutional investors to attend the foundation’s annual events.​

Jonathan has also served as the PRESIDENT & CEO of REAL ESTATE MEDIA, INC., a Wasserstein & Co. Portfolio Company where he is best known for the founding of GlobeSt.com, the commercial real estate industry’s leading online news and information website.

Jonathan is currently a member of the prestigious industry organization, Counselors of Real Estate as well as the Pension Real Estate Association and is a graduate of The George Washington University with a BBA in Finance.

Jonathan currently lives in New York City with his wife Cynthia, a licensed acupuncturist and their two dogs, Bella and Penny who are decidedly unlicensed to cause trouble at any moment.
