Jon Popielarski is the director of private assets at the Employees’ Retirement System of Rhode Island (ERSRI), a $10.4 billion defined benefit plan. The private asset portfolios include private equity, private credit, and private real assets. Prior to joining ERSRI in 2013, he worked as a business development associate at Hastings Equity Partners, a lower-middle market, industrial-focused private equity fund.
