Jill DiCuffa

Jill DiCuffa has been a public school teacher for over 20 years. Born and raised in Austin, Texas, she graduated from Texas A&M University in 1993 with a B.A. in history. Jill has taught a variety of social science classes, including local history, state history, U.S. history, and world cultures, at both the middle and high school levels in Austin and San Francisco.

Currently, she is the high school leadership teacher at the Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders, a public, all-girls school in Austin. She believes that travel opens the mind and has led student trips to Washington, D.C., Costa Rica, and Canada for the past 13 years. DiCuffa was introduced to Speak Truth to Power at the first STTP summer institute in Washington, D.C., during the summer of 2013 and has been using the curriculum in a variety of ways to encourage students to become advocates and defenders of human rights ever since.

Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights is rebranding to honor the legacy of our founder and hero, Mrs. Ethel Skakel Kennedy. From now on, we will proudly be known as the Robert & Ethel Kennedy Human Rights Center

While our name is changing, our mission and work remain the same. We will continue to fight injustice, advance human rights, and hold governments accountable around the world in 2026 and beyond.
