Ezihe Chikwere

Program Associate

As the Program Associate for the International Advocacy and Litigation team, Ezihe works to uphold the mission of Robert F Kennedy Human Rights through administrative work for the Africa, Latin America, and Asia teams. This work includes but is not limited to using advocacy to protect civic spaces and holding governments accountable to ensure human rights. Ezihe has and continues to dedicate her education, hands-on, and lived experiences to advocate and uphold the rights of human beings here in the US and abroad.

Prior to working at Robert F Kennedy Human Rights, Ezihe has served in underserved communities to implement restorative justice practices, taught students the importance of international affairs, and has traveled to regions such as Guatemala and the U.S. Virgin Islands to help the missions of local organizations. Ezihe received her Masters degree in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University’s School of International Service. Here she studied the importance of peace building, conflict resolution, and prevention through an international lens.

New year, new us. Same mission.

Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights is rebranding to honor the legacy of our founder and hero, Mrs. Ethel Skakel Kennedy. From now on, we will proudly be known as the Robert & Ethel Kennedy Human Rights Center

While our name is changing, our mission and work remain the same. We will continue to fight injustice, advance human rights, and hold governments accountable around the world in 2026 and beyond.
