Erika Nguyen (she/her) is the Associate Director of Inclusive Economies at Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights. Her work focuses on advancing inclusion and human rights in the economy, including through private sector engagement and advocacy around the rights and dignity of workers.
Prior to joining Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, Erika worked at Human Rights Watch, first in development and outreach in Silicon Valley, and most recently in the Women’s Rights Division, where in addition to managing research and advocacy projects, she focused on violence and harassment in the world of work, including in informal sectors; the gendered impacts of the climate crisis; and technology-facilitated gender-based violence. Born and raised in Oregon, Erika has a bachelor’s degree in International Relations with honors in the Graduate School of Education from Stanford University.
She is currently based in Washington, DC. Outside of work, she enjoys a deep dive on Twitter, exploring the art and food scene, and taking advantage of the DC public library system.
