Detained Migrant Solidarity Committee

The Detained Migrant Solidarity Committee (DMSC) reunites families by assisting in paying bonds to release detained immigrants and helping them to avoid exploitative bail bond lenders, which improves their chances in immigration court. They are respected liberation activists in the region who work to challenge the inhumanity of the U.S. migrant detention system by raising awareness of the human rights abuses in their community. The group will use their platform to continue engaging with the community and service providers to build a radical understanding about migrant detention, border militarization, and mass criminalization, and to advocate for those directly impacted.

New year, new us. Same mission.

Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights is rebranding to honor the legacy of our founder and hero, Mrs. Ethel Skakel Kennedy. From now on, we will proudly be known as the Robert & Ethel Kennedy Human Rights Center

While our name is changing, our mission and work remain the same. We will continue to fight injustice, advance human rights, and hold governments accountable around the world in 2026 and beyond.
