Daniel Gottlieb is the chief investment officer for the Southern Ute Indian Tribe, whose staff he joined in 2016. Gottlieb oversaw the creation of the organization’s Investment Committee and the build-out of internal staff to manage endowment assets; he and his team rebuilt existing allocations and created the portfolio’s strategy in private funds across asset classes, and oversee all aspects of the investment program. Previously, Gottlieb served for ten years as the chief investment officer of Glen Eagle Partners, a single-family office located in Evanston, IL. Prior to joining the investment industry, he worked as a project manager at AMS Planning & Research, a consulting firm specializing in business planning and facility development for cultural institutions. Gottlieb’s professional career began as an employee of the Juilliard School and Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra. Gottlieb and his family (wife Shari, children Nathan and Jonah, dogs Ivy and Bootsy) live in Durango, Colorado.
