What motivates you to be a changemaker in your community?

As a Black Women and first generation American, my identity puts me in a constant state of survival especially with the intersectional challenges I face within society. Furthermore, based on my lived experiences I am driven by passion and hope for change. Which motivates me to continuously challenge oppressive systems and advocate for human rights.

My Capstone:

The Empowerment and Integration Mentorship Program is a community-based initiative to support newly arrived immigrants from marginalized racial and ethnic groups in the Twin Cities. This program addresses the unique challenges immigrants face while fostering inclusivity, understanding, and economic empowerment within the community.

New year, new us. Same mission.

Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights is rebranding to honor the legacy of our founder and hero, Mrs. Ethel Skakel Kennedy. From now on, we will proudly be known as the Robert & Ethel Kennedy Human Rights Center

While our name is changing, our mission and work remain the same. We will continue to fight injustice, advance human rights, and hold governments accountable around the world in 2026 and beyond.
