Cayla Damick

Institutional Fundraising Officer

After nearly a decade in the advertising industry, Cayla shifted her career to mission-based work in the nonprofit sector, specializing in fundraising and development. She holds a master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from Columbia University. Cayla began her fundraising career with the major gifts team at Doctors Without Borders/ Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), focusing on cultivating relationships with high-net-worth individuals. She later transitioned to institutional funders as the Development Manager at the Urban Assembly, where she managed grant writing, reporting, and a portfolio of foundation and corporate funders, while also leading initiatives to engage major and individual donors.

Cayla is excited to return to a humanitarian mission with RFKHR. Coming from a family of lawyers and human rights advocates, she is grateful to contribute to the impactful work at RFKHR and to be connected to the legacy of Robert F. Kennedy.

New year, new us. Same mission.

Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights is rebranding to honor the legacy of our founder and hero, Mrs. Ethel Skakel Kennedy. From now on, we will proudly be known as the Robert & Ethel Kennedy Human Rights Center

While our name is changing, our mission and work remain the same. We will continue to fight injustice, advance human rights, and hold governments accountable around the world in 2026 and beyond.
