Ashwin Krishnan

Ashwin Krishnan is a managing director of Morgan Stanley and the co-head of Morgan Stanley’s North America private credit team, where he serves on the Investment Committee and is a co-portfolio manager of the opportunistic credit strategy. Krishnan has been a part of the private credit business of Morgan Stanley Investment Management since its inception in 2009 and has over 21 years of relevant industry experience. Krishnan joined Morgan Stanley’s Fixed Income Division in 2003, where he spent time as a credit analyst in the high yield and distressed research group, and as a principal investor with Morgan Stanley Principal Investments. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Krishnan was in the communications investment banking group at UBS. Krishnan earned a B.S. in industrial engineering from Bangalore University, India, and an M.S. in engineering from Columbia University.
