Amy Zelvin Reid

Executive Vice President, Marketing & Communications

Amy Zelvin Reid is the Executive Vice President of Marketing Communications at RFK Human Rights, where she leads efforts to build brand awareness, deepen donor and partner engagement, attract new audiences, and amplify the organization’s global human rights work through effective, mission-driven communication strategies.

A strategic marketing communications professional with over 30 years of experience, Amy has held leadership roles at major media and digital organizations and has advised a wide range of nonprofit and corporate clients throughout her career.

Prior to joining RFK Human Rights, Amy served as Public Relations and Prospect Marketing Brand Director at YPO, the global community of over 30,000 chief executives across 142 countries. She led the strategic direction of the organization’s prospect marketing group and oversaw a global marketing communications team across APAC, the Americas, and EMEA. Under her leadership, YPO saw a 45% year-over-year increase in new member applications and a 40% rise in newly recruited female executives in her final year.

In 2015, Amy launched her own communications consultancy, working with clients such as the Financial Women’s Association (FWA), the National Women’s Studies Association (NWSA), and Feld Entertainment.

Previously, Amy spent over 15 years at NBCUniversal, primarily leading public relations for CNBC, the global business news leader. There, she oversaw communications for CNBC Digital, Business Day programming, and business development initiatives, including the network’s alliance with Yahoo! Finance and the acquisition of Nightly Business Report.

Between two tenures at CNBC, Amy served as Senior Vice President of Communications for NBCUniversal Digital Media, where she was part of the team that launched Hulu and led communications around NBCU’s acquisition of iVillage.

Earlier in her career, she held roles at Ruder-Finn, where she was Vice President on the Corporate Technology and Public Affairs team, and at BusinessWeek, where she worked as a Communications Manager.
