Adam Fliss

Founding Partner and General Counsel, Patient Square Capital

Adam Fliss is Founding Partner of Patient Square Capital and serves as General Counsel of the Firm. Mr. Fliss has over 19 years of experience in law, government affairs, and alternative investments.

Prior to Patient Square, Mr. Fliss was General Counsel of TPG Capital. Prior to TPG, Mr. Fliss was an Associate in the private equity group at Ropes & Gray.

Mr. Fliss received a B.A. in Political Economy from Tulane University and a J.D., summa cum laude from Suffolk University Law School. He has served as trustee of Project Healing Waters, a charitable organization dedicated to the rehabilitation of disabled veterans through fly fishing and fly tying and The Law Foundation of Silicon Valley. Mr. Fliss is currently a trustee of the Ira M. Millstein Center for Global Markets and Corporate Ownership at Columbia University. He resides in Marin County, CA with his wife Beth and three children, Jack, Annabel and Drew.

While our name is changing, our mission and work remain the same. We will continue to fight injustice, advance human rights, and hold governments accountable around the world in 2026 and beyond.
