Aaron Maeng

Managing Director, American Securities

Aaron Maeng joined American Securities in 2014. He is currently chairman of the Board of Aramsco, and a director of Foundation Building Materials and Hexion. Previously, Maeng was a director of Henry Company, Oregon Tool, The Aspen Group, and United Distribution Group.

Prior to joining American Securities, Maeng was an associate at Battery Ventures, where he focused on growth and buyout transactions involving software & services and industrial technology. He also previously worked as an investment banking analyst at Jefferies & Company, Inc. in the TMT Investment Banking group and as a management consultant at L.E.K. Consulting. Maeng started his career as a systems engineer at CenturyLink, Inc.

Maeng received a BS in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
