Sierra Ewert

Director of Campaigns & Mobilization

Sierra Ewert is the director of Campaigns and Mobilization at Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, overseeing people-powered advocacy campaigns and mobilization efforts across the organization. During her time at RFK Human Rights, Sierra has helped launch its youth engagement and U.S. Advocacy programs, coordinate efforts to free people unjustly incarcerated on unaffordable money bail, and mobilize hundreds of volunteers to take direct action in support of a wide range of advocacy issues.

Prior to joining Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, Sierra worked for the Asia Foundation and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), where she reported on policy issues related to education, civic engagement, and the environment. She holds a B.A. in Sociology from Colorado College, and a M.S. in Social Work and International Affairs from Columbia University.

Born and raised in the foothills of California, Sierra escapes to her native mountains whenever she gets a chance!
