Kacey Mordecai joins Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights after five years as a Staff Attorney at the Juvenile Law Center, a Philadelphia public interest law firm for children, where she worked to improve national policy and practice for children in the foster care and justice systems.
Ms. Mordecai earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2011. During her time at Georgetown, she interned for the Inter-American Court for Human Rights and for Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights. Kacey received her B.A. in International Studies from the University of Chicago where she participated in the Human Rights Internship Program with the Independent Jamaican Council for Human Rights in her home country, Jamaica.
