Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights president Kerry Kennedy recently convened a meeting in New York with Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus to discuss the critical human rights landscape in Bangladesh ahead of the country’s upcoming national election in February 2026.

The delegation, which included representatives from Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights and other key advocacy groups, stressed the importance of sustained international pressure to ensure lasting democratic progress in Bangladesh beyond the election.
