MSN: Democrats Blast Trump Admin for Revoking Palestinian Protester’s Green Card: It’s ‘Straight Out of the Fascist Playbook

Democrats are criticizing the Trump administration for collaborating with Columbia University to arrest pro-Palestine activist Mahmoud Khalil, a Syrian-born U.S. permanent resident and recent graduate.

Following his arrest, Khalil was transferred to the La Salle Detention Facility in Jena, Louisiana, which was condemned by RFK Human Rights in a 2024 report that found evidence of systemic abuse at the facility.
