The Guardian: Pregnant women report medical neglect in ICE detention, rights groups say

The Guardian reports on Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights’ recent letter to government officials, calling for the immediate release of all pregnant, postpartum, and nursing women in ICE detention.

The letter documents abuse and medical neglect of detained pregnant people, including six stories of women who experienced solitary confinement, denial of prenatal vitamins, inadequate food, delayed or substandard medical care, and lack of interpretation during medical visits.
