The Business Standard: Certain forces are determined prevent election: CA Yunus to rights groups

Last week, Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights president Kerry Kennedy led a meeting with Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus and representatives from several human rights organizations to discuss Bangladesh’s critical national elections scheduled for February 2026. 

Yunus highlighted ongoing efforts to reform Bangladesh’s political and human rights landscape, including investigations into enforced disappearances and the establishment of UN human rights missions. He emphasized the importance of continued international visits to keep attention on these issues and support a free, fair, and peaceful election.
