KFLY: Allegations of abuse and neglect at Louisiana ICE facility

Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, in collaboration with its partners, has filed a civil rights complaint and demanded the closure of a Louisiana ICE facility.

The complainants allege regular violations to their rights at the South Louisiana ICE Processing Center (SLIPC) in Basile, Louisiana, detailing abuse at the hands of a former assistant warden. They describe sexual assault, physical, verbal and sexual abuse, and forced labor, as well as the withholding of medical care.
