On September 28 2021, Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights joined other human rights organizations in a thematic hearing before the Inter American Commission of Human Rights, to express our profound concern for the sustained harassment faced by judges and prosecutors in Guatemala fighting against corruption, and grave human rights violations in the country. During the hearing, we called on the Guatemalan state to investigate these threats against judicial officials and prosecutors, and to guarantee their protection as they exercise their duties in a democratic society.
