Fernando Vasquez

Mr. Vazquez Is a member of the Private Equity team at the New York State Common Retirement Fund. Previously, Mr. Vazquez was a member of Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund private markets, which invests in venture capital, private equity, real estate, private debt, infrastructure, agriculture, and timber. Prior to that role, he was a senior advisor to buy- and sell-side investment managers and a member of PERACS Analytics. Mr. Vazquez was on the founding team of Conversus Asset Management, which managed a listed closed-end private equity fund. Previously, Mr. Vazquez was a Managing Director at Bank of America and investment committee member of the global private equity fund portfolio. Mr. Vazquez was also a strategic planning manager at Visa International Latin America and started his career at predecessors to Wells Fargo. Mr. Vazquez has been active in industry associations, including the EVCA and a past research committee chair of ILPA.
