Elias Mendoza

Elias Mendoza joined Siris in 2013. As partner and COO, Mendoza’s responsibilities at Siris include identifying potential industry verticals for investment opportunities, sourcing, and leading new investment opportunities, and working with portfolio companies to deliver on value creation objectives. Prior to joining Siris, he was a partner at Union Square Advisors, where he served as its COO and a senior banker across the firm’s verticals. Through July 2011, Mendoza held various senior positions at IBM, including vice president and global head of corporate development. In this capacity, he was responsible for identifying, executing, and integrating all acquisitions, investments, and divestitures on a global basis. Mendoza’s previous experience includes over 12 years spent at Morgan Stanley & Co., as an executive director in the Investment Banking Division. HE received a Landegger Program Certificate in International Business Diplomacy and an MBA from Georgetown University and his AB from Princeton University.

While our name is changing, our mission and work remain the same. We will continue to fight injustice, advance human rights, and hold governments accountable around the world in 2026 and beyond.
