James Edward Harden, born August 26, 1989, is a professional basketball player for the Brooklyn Nets of the NBA (recently traded to the Philadelphia 76ers). He is currently in his 13th season of play. Harden is well decorated with many professional accolades; 9x NBA All-Star, NBA MVP, Olympic Gold Medalist, and McDonald’s All-American…just to name a few.
Aside from his efforts on the court, Harden wants to be most known for his efforts off the court. He is a generous philanthropist whose deeds have helped countless individuals. Harden seeks to incite positive change and use his platform to give a voice to those who do not have one.
He founded Impact13 Foundation in 2021. Impact13 is a non-profit organization dedicated to closing socio-economic gaps and improving the livelihood of those is disadvantaged places through community development, education, entrepreneurship, the arts, fashion, and sports.
