Giving Tuesday Campaign
Join us in creating change. Make a gift of $100 or more by December 2 for your chance to win two tickets to our annual Ripple of Hope Gala this December!
“Each of us can work to change a small portion of events and in the total of all those acts will be written the history of a generation.”
– Sen. Robert F. Kennedy
Even when the world feels dark, your support is helping create milestones that set forth ripples of hope. Together, we can ensure the history of our generation will be one of justice, equality, and opportunity.
Today, your continued support is more critical than ever to protect those whose voices might otherwise go unheard.
Just this year, because of your support, RFK Human Rights achieved key victories holding the U.S. government accountable for human rights abuses, victories that protect all of us from encroaching government overreach, impunity, and disregard for the rule of law.
Fighting Arbitrary Surveillance
In NN v. McShane, we stopped ICE from using GPS surveillance on people in defiance of a judge’s order of release from immigration detention without any supervision conditions.
Protecting People From Mandatory Detention
In Ventura Martinez v. Trump, we freed a longtime Maryland resident and pillar of his community from detention, stopping the government from applying a new sweeping interpretation of law that would expand mandatory detention to millions of people.
Reaffirming Asylum Justice
In Savane v. Francis, we freed a 22-year-old asylum seeker arrested without any notice of the reason why and locked in detention for months in violation of the Constitution, reinforcing that ICE can’t detain people indefinitely without justification.
Defending Due Process
In Ceesay v. Kurzdorfer, we secured the release of a longtime New Yorker unlawfully detained by ICE—reaffirming that the 100,000+ people under ICE supervision are protected from arbitrary arrest and detention.
Pursuing Police Accountability
In Monroe v. United States, we’re fighting for justice for a 61-year-old man brutally beaten by Louisiana State Police, pushing for reforms that ensure victims of police violence can seek accountability under federal law.
Stopping ICE’s Unlawful Courthouse Ambushes
We secured the release of 19-year-old Oliver Mata Velazquez in one of the first cases challenging unlawful courthouse arrests by masked ICE agents of people lawfully attending their immigration court hearings.

This giving season, we’re most thankful for you—our dedicated community of supporters. And we want to give something back.
